Car wash consulting, A to Z

Everything it takes to build, run and grow a car wash.

I operate two full-service car washes in Southern California. From site layout and equipment to vendors, processing rates, pay plans and the numbers, I help owners make the right call on anything in the business.

Owners make six-figure decisions with a salesperson on the other end of the table.

01

Equipment gets bought off the rep's quote

Tunnel packages, dryers and chemical programs are sold hard. Few owners have an operator checking the pitch first.

02

Rates and contracts quietly creep up

Card processing fees, chemical contracts and service agreements rarely get re-shopped once they're signed.

03

Labor and pay run on habit

Crews scheduled by feel, commission that doesn't sell, and managers who maintain instead of grow.

What I do

Anything in the car wash business, start to finish.

Building new, fixing an old wash, or just need someone who's been there. Bring me the problem.

Site selection & layout

Traffic flow, stacking, tunnel length, vacuum and finish areas. Get the layout right before the concrete is poured.

New builds & remodels

An operator in your corner from plans to opening day, so the build works for the crew and the customer.

Equipment decisions

Tunnel packages, dryers, vacuums, POS and pay stations. What's worth buying, what's oversold, and what to fix instead of replace.

Vendor connections

Chemical suppliers, service techs, contractors and software. I'll connect you with the right people and help you negotiate the terms.

Processing rates

A line-by-line look at your card processing statement, and help getting a better rate or a better processor.

Labor & scheduling

Labor percentage benchmarks, staffing to car count, and a weekly payroll view that catches overages early.

Pay plans & KPIs

Commission that sells upgrades, manager bonuses tied to real targets, and a dashboard everyone can read.

Reviews & marketing

Review systems the crew actually runs, plus a clean setup on Google, Apple Maps and your website.

Something not on the list? If it's part of running a car wash, ask me.

How it works

One project or the whole wash. Same straight answers.

Step 1

A free 30-minute call

Tell me about your wash or your plans. I'll tell you straight if I can help.

Step 2

Site or numbers review

I look at the site, the plans, the quotes or your reports and find what to build, fix or renegotiate.

Step 3

Build the plan

Layout, equipment, vendors, pay plans, targets. Whatever the job needs, done with you.

Step 4

Stay with it

Ongoing check-ins through the build or the turnaround, until it's running right.

About

I'm Anthony Kossoian. I still run washes every day.

I started in car washes at 15. Today I run Fair Oaks Car Wash in Altadena and Mission Grove Car Wash in Riverside, two family-owned full-service washes, and I handle operations, marketing and systems myself.

What I bring you comes from running my own washes: equipment, vendors, contracts, crews, pay plans and numbers. Whether you're planning a build, weighing an equipment quote or trying to fix a wash that's slipping, you get an operator's answer, not a sales pitch.

Book a call

Let's talk about your wash.

Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. Tell me what you're building, buying or fixing, and I'll tell you what I'd look at first.
